Join our interactive virtual course designed to build knowledge and confidence in supporting patients through perimenopause and menopause. Our goal is to provide you with the essential foundations needed to deliver safe, effective, and individualised menopause care in clinical practice.
Grounded in evidence-based guidance and brought to life through realistic primary care case scenarios, this course strengthens practical understanding and clinical decision-making skills. It is ideal for healthcare professionals who are new to menopause care, as well as those looking to refresh and update their existing knowledge.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed for primary care clinicians and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of women experiencing perimenopause and menopause. It is particularly suited to those who are new to menopause care, as well as practitioners who wish to refresh or update their existing knowledge.
What will I learn?
By the end of the course, you will feel more confident in assessing women presenting with perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms. You will develop an understanding of the wider impact of menopause, including potential long-term effects and will recognise the importance of providing an individualised approach to care. The course will give you a clear overview of management strategies, including lifestyle interventions, non-hormonal treatments, and hormone replacement therapy (HRT). You will be equipped to recommend personalised menopause care plans, including appropriate HRT options, and to counsel patients effectively on the associated risks and benefits. Overall, you will enhance both your knowledge and confidence in delivering safe and effective menopause care.

Is there any funding available?
Eligible individuals employed in General Practice within Humber and North Yorkshire may access NHSE funding opportunities, available via the Primary Care Workforce and Training Hub.
Details of applicable funding options and eligibility can be found below, or in this document. If you are unsure or have any queries, please contact the Humber and North Yorkshire Training Hub on hnyicb.traininghub@nhs.net who will be happy to help advise.

Eligibility will be checked for all funded bookings, if it is determined that you have incorrectly claimed eligibility for funding, an invoice for the full course fee will be issued.
This course can be available utilising NHSE CPD funding for eligible individuals (Nurses, NAs and Allied Health Professionals). To be eligible, the person attending must be:
